About ASVAB Commander

ASVAB Commander helps people preparing to enlist find out what to study for the ASVAB, then practice it. The idea is simple: take a short diagnostic, see which subtests are holding your score back, and spend your study time there instead of on everything at once.

What you can do here

• Free diagnostic. 25 questions from all nine subtests. No account needed to start. You see your score, your weakest subtest and what to study next.
• Free subtest guides. What each subtest covers, sample questions with answers and study tips, starting with the ASVAB practice test overview.
• Membership. Timed full practice exams, practice questions by topic with worked solutions, a missed-question bank, flashcards, a formula sheet and progress tracking. See pricing.

Where the questions come from

Every question on ASVAB Commander is an original practice question written in the style of the ASVAB. None of them are actual ASVAB test items, and our scores are practice scores, not official ASVAB or AFQT scores. Your official scores come only from taking the real test.

Independent, not official

ASVAB Commander is an independent study service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, the official ASVAB program, or any branch of the armed forces. For official information about the test, talk to a recruiter.
